We saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, but I think that the woman in front is much prettier.

In Barcelona we ran across a Salvador Dali exhibit. It was great, but often very WIERD!

Kate Malone is an artist that Joy greatly admires, and she proved to be a wonderful host as well. She was very kind during our stay in Cotignac and continues to mentor Joy through the internet.

The house we stayed in was over three hundred years old, but it somehow reminded me of the houses in the first Star Wars movie with it's white smooth curving walls.

Cotignag was one of Joy's favorite places. Located in Southern France, an amazing thing about this place is the natural caves. You can see the buildings in the cliff wall, there are actually caves in the wall that go under the town. They were used as hiding places during the resistance.

Spain was fun, but Joy cryed at the bull fight.

Fun was to be had for all at this former Augustiniun Monestery. The Augustiniuns were the ones that brewed the beer if the giant barrel and mug didn't give it away!

The hills are alive with the...

We went on the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg. Do you remember this house?

Neuschwanstein Castle is the inspiration for the Disney castle.

The mountains in southern Germany were incredible!

Absolute proof that not everything is Bigger in Texas!

This clock in Munich had an incredible array of dancers and later even displayed a joust.

Mark was again an excellent host, though he had to put up with a bit of homesickness from Joy.

A V.E. show at Trefalger Square London

There really are holes in the Royal Albert Hall. I wonder if they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall...I'd love to turn you on!

Anne Hathaway's cottage still has a thatched roof, amazing!

The tomb of Shakespeare was quite somber, but beautiful.

This is the childhood home of William Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon.

The ceramics in this museum at Stoke on Trent were amazing!

Stoke on Trent was full of old potteries like this one.

Hanging out with John in front of the Cavern Club.

The bus stop where Paul met George. Cool bus!

Paul McCartney's childhood home

John Lennon's Childhood home

Did I mention it was pouring rain on Penny Lane?

We went on the Magical Mystery Tour in London and managed to see Penny Lane in the pouring rain.
