Laisse Le Bon Temps Rouler!

Our trip to Louisianna in June, 2007. We spent a week driving through Cajun Country in the Southwest corner of LA. We had great food, heard awesome music, stayed in a haunted mansion, and went on a swamp tour. Ayyyyeeee

Do you believe in ghosts? Elsie, our hostess showed us these eerie children's footprints that mysteriously appeared a couple of weeks before we arrived. She has tried to clean them off but nothing can take them away. I rubbed my hand on them and it didn't even smudge...spooky!

We saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, but I think that the woman in front is much prettier.

In Barcelona we ran across a Salvador Dali exhibit. It was great, but often very WIERD!

Kate Malone is an artist that Joy greatly admires, and she proved to be a wonderful host as well. She was very kind during our stay in Cotignac and continues to mentor Joy through the internet.

The house we stayed in was over three hundred years old, but it somehow reminded me of the houses in the first Star Wars movie with it's white smooth curving walls.

Cotignag was one of Joy's favorite places. Located in Southern France, an amazing thing about this place is the natural caves. You can see the buildings in the cliff wall, there are actually caves in the wall that go under the town. They were used as hiding places during the resistance.

Spain was fun, but Joy cryed at the bull fight.
