Our trip was full of trials. China has very little infrastructure for tourism yet. It took about thirty minutes from arriving at our second hostel for them to understand that we had made reservations over the internet, but they were well worth it when we finally got to see such magnificent sights as the Great Wall, seen here streching out behind my radient wife.
